some news...

hey mates!

i know i haven't been writing some days, but i've been bloody busy and so i couldn't find any spare time to post some words. and without a computer it's quite tricky too...

but the important news first: this friday, 15th of july, there's gonna be some kind of lecture where we will read out (loud) some literature and we will have some live music and other stuff. it's called SPRECHSTUNDE and will start at 8ish at the CAFÉ STRIESE in auxburg. i think it's gonna be quite interesting and we've got a lot of funny texts too, so if anyone of you is round here in bavaria... see you there!

well, and now to something completely different: my return and rebirth as a true auxburgian has finally happened. i already moved my stuff from munich to auxburg and i'm kind of living here again. and it's fantastic! my room is really nice and so is my new flatmate - my good old friend gerald whom i know since my very first day of studying here - and we already had a fabulous "farewell carmen / welcome flo"-party last thursday. it was great to see all those people again, the flat was quite crowded and a lot of drinks were drunk until 4 in the morning. rock'n'roll!!!

although i don't have anything to do (like a job or uni) at the moment i can't really complain about being bored - there's always stuff to do, friends to meet, things to buy and fun to have.

as all of you might guess i'm in a very good mood and i haven't fallen in that dark hole created by the cultural shock of coming back. and i hope i won't either. i do miss england and all my friends there or back in their home countries already (or finally) but i'm sure we'll meet soon and i'm very much looking forward to doing that. the summer is still long and hasn't really begun yet.
